LAOAG CITY – Locals are flocking to Barangay Gabut Sur after a resident said she saw an image of Jesus Christ on an electric post there.
Is it a sign or is it just coincidence?
According to Ruby Jean Arquillo, she first noticed the image on the post while she was fetching water, but ignored it. Later, she found the image still there, so she informed her mother and relatives.
She shared that there was a thunderstorm when she encountered it for the first time, which solidified her belief that it was a miracle.
Since the image did not disappear after the inclement weather, she informed her relatives about it.
After stories of the image spread, residents trekked to the area to see the supposed image of Jesus.
Many among the crowd offered prayers, and placed lit candles at the post. Sightseers also took photos.
